If the right of 'the People' to keep and bear arms meant that the people, to exercise their right, had to be members of the National Guard, would it not follow that you also had to join the National Guard to enjoy the freedom to assemble, freedom of the press, freedom from self-incrimination, and the rest? My question: why wasn't this unanimous?

A Dallas homeowner has been fighting Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) for $5,000 that he claims the agency owes him because it caused flooding to his rent house. Finally, the 89-year-old won the case, but DART is appealing. Also, e-mails uncovered from the former chair of DART reveal a disturbing trend within the agency.
